This year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fabled Woodstock Festival, we engaged with children from 4 local National Schools the Gael Scoil, Presentation NS, CBS Greenschool and Ballyneale NS along with residents from the Bridgewater House Community to create, upcycle, plant and decorate household items and transform them into colourful street art installations with a retro flower power, peace and love vibe, breathing new life into the Town. This Flower Power project was spearheaded by Maura Barrett and Ashar Khokhar. These art installations will be displayed around the town – prepare to be blown away! This initiative also forms the basis of this year’s Treasure Hunt Trail – so find your groove, join us and have some fun!
